MTRobin
Hi Everyone, I attached a video of what is happening. As you can see I have "Snap to Object" on when I start. It stays on until I have to select my second point in the rotation. How can I have this stay on? My snapping palette is in the top left of my screen. Thanks Maxwell Snap Rotate.mp4 Quote Link to comment
Boh
What are your short cut keys for snapping set to in your workspace? I suspect you might be toggling the snap off somehow on your keyboard. I only have a quick key for turning off and on the grid snaps. Quote Link to comment
MTRobin
I don't have any keys assigned. Quote Link to comment
Boh
That is odd. Does it only happen in 3d projections? Quote Link to comment
markdd
You are not wrong. I have never noticed that behaviour before. However it is definitely there. I wonder if it is intended specially given the nature of Screen Aligned and the problem this mode has given folk in the past. Quote Link to comment
MTRobin
I am finding that it works fine in Top/Plan, but not in any of the other 3D views, which is where the majority of my work is. Quote Link to comment
Boh
I notice the "snap to working plane" mode is activated as well as the object snap being deactivated. So it definitely seems to be a 3d issue. Have you tried it in different plane options? Is it file specific? I though it might be this: But I can't seem to reporduce your issue. Sorry I can't offer any more suggestions... Quote Link to comment
MTRobin
It works fine in screen plane, but all the other ones don't work. I tried turning those settings on and off and it still doesn't work. Quote Link to comment
