I changed my heliodon from white fill to a very light tan.

If the Fill was already white, the Heliodon was correct.

Normally you would adjust the Color Temperature/Whilte Balance

in your Render Style Settings.

If you're using HDRI's it might be the saturation which you can adjust. I sometimes find this to be the cause of some unusual hues in some renderings (if using environmental lighting).
