SCParker
Has anyone placed single house rigging points using the "house rigging point" tool and then been able to attach hoists to them? If I'm reading the help file correctly, one needs to place a structural beam fist and then place the house points. Well, that'd be fine if I had a beam. I'm dealing with a hotel ballroom that has several single eye-bolt rig points. I want to place all the single points and then hang hoists connected to truss. Anyone? Martijn Wingelaar
Hello Scott Good question but... The eye-bolts are connected to a structural member "beam" I've been drawing a lot of structural members to speed up my bridle drawings. But it turns out that my drawings are becoming really slow. And it takes a lot of time for VW to process all the data. And the member is divided in to parts which means the bridle tool will snap diagonal instead of horizontal. Yes, it seems I have been doing the same. I'd prefer to simply add "house Rigging Point" exactly where I want them and then have the bridle tool just work with them. I'm going to submit a suggestion to VW. Best, Scott 2 Quote Link to comment

Link to your request and I will support. It's such a common scenario. Hoist top hook snaps to house point and low hook to truss would be great 3 Quote Link to comment
