Import turbocad issues

I am starting to pull my hair out with an attempt to open a turbocad file in Vectorworks. I should say I have the educational version of VW, as far as I am awear it shoukd be able to open a DWG file, which is what turbocad says it has exported... any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a shot of the error message.

@amberhine, this message would appear, if you are trying to open the file. If you want to import a DWG file, you have to use menu command File-->Import-->Import Single DXF/DWG...
