Soviet
I've had to downgrade to the 2018 version from the 2019 version but I forgot to export one of my files into a 2018 file. Any other ways that any of you know of that I can use to convert the file? Attached is the file in question. Prop. Plane.vwx Quote Link to comment
Boh
Here's your file in v2018. I think you would otherwise have to reload v2019. Prop. Plane v2018.vwx Quote Link to comment
marksarch
Hi, I went back to using Vectorworks 2018 after using 2019 for a wile, but I forgot to export my file. Any other ways to convert a file to a lower version? Antwerpsesteenweg 840 19-03-07_app.vwx Quote Link to comment
Boh
You might be able to do it with cloud services or tech support. Not sure. Anyway here is your file in v2018. I need to be careful as soon everybody will be posting here wanting 2019 files converted! 🙂 Antwerpsesteenweg 840 19-03-07_app v2018.vwx 1 Quote Link to comment
Art V
Vectorworks should update its viewer so that it can also convert VW files from one version to another (e.g. 2019 to 2018) similar to Autodesks DWG TrueView. Especially as long as there is a new file format each year this would be useful to have when working with people who are on older versions so that they can do the conversion themselves. 1 Quote Link to comment
