Popular Post KGreenmun
Have you ever wished that there was a list of fonts, using the font types? I couldn't find one so ended up typing one out. Hopefully someone else can use it too! I'll attach the list in PDF format as well as a VW19 file. VW-19 FONTS.pdf VW FONTS.vwx 5 Quote Link to comment
markdd
As far as I understand it all fonts are installed on the machine and Vwx does not install any of its own (unlike AutoCad) Take a look at this article as it describes a way to do what you did (which must have taken an enormous amount of time and patience) in a few seconds. I just tried it and it works great. https://www.cultofmac.com/138767/generate-samples-of-your-macs-fonts-os-x-tips/ Edited January 14, 2019 by markdd 1 Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted January 15, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 15, 2019 There is a wish for having this right in the UI like you have in many word processing and graphics applications. I think this one has the most support so far: Quote Link to comment
apStudio149
Thanks for doing that list @KGreenmun nice simple reference, was going to make my own but you saved me the time 🙂 Quote Link to comment
obressane
Dear KGreenmun, Very interesting and helpful what you shared. I tryed to open the file VW Fonts you shared but at the time I open it, VW2019 substitute Graphite and Draft fonts into Arial because they are not in the fonts default. What could I do to have them? CipesDesign
In my opinion VW's needs to show actual fonts in the font pulldown selection menus. It is ridiculous for the user to open another document (no, another application!) just to see what any given font looks like. This has been on the wishlist for a long time, so I am giving it a little bump. Quote Link to comment
obressane
I agree with you, Peter. But I've heard this is due to copyrights that belongs to Microsoft. Would it be true? Quote Link to comment

JojoSol
It would be a valuable improvement that would make workflow smoother. +1 for dropdown text preview and the ability to cycle with arrow keys. Quote Link to comment
