Hamo
In creating a small truss & hoist plot came across a couple of weird things; Plot as normal (Top/Plan) - LX Problem-1.jpeg - All normal, quite happy thank you. Plot in Plan - weird lines emanating from the hoist positions - LX Problem-2.jpeg - Tried editing without success. In 3D aspects weird lines are still visible - LX Problem-3 at 86% zoom.jpeg - All normal apart from the weird lines. Zoom in to a hoist at 217% and everything disappears - LX Problem-4 at 217%.jpg - Items are still there and 'glow' when moused over or 'select all'. Any clues? Quote Link to comment
SimonBarrington
I've been having the same problem, but it only appears with Prolyte Truss. Hamo, have you found that this is just with Prolyte or with other manufacturers? Quote Link to comment
Hamo
In this instance it was with Global truss F44. I'll see if I can re-create it with other trusses. H Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee JustinVH Posted January 15, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 15, 2019 Are either of you able to post a file that shows the issue? I would like to see if I can duplicate the issue on my machine using the same symbols and truss libraries. Quote Link to comment
SimonBarrington
Yes of course... here you go Prolyte Truss Example.vwx Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee JustinVH Posted January 15, 2019 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 15, 2019 Thanks for the file. Can you please let me know what build you are using? This can be found in Vectorworks>About Vectorworks and is a six digit number. This will allow me to use the identical build and see if I can replicate the issue. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
SimonBarrington
Build number is 463397. This has been happening since I upgraded to 2019 as far as I remember, but I hadn't needed to do anything in the way of truss drawing for a few months so completely forgot about the issue.
