EDIT WORKSHEET CELLS

How can I override the "not editable" cells in a worksheet to be editable?  I dont want the fields to be tied to an object any longer.  I want them to be "dumb."

Thanks!

Not possible in a database row. Only possible in worksheet rows.

You can copy/paste from the database into a worksheet. Or if you still need the database, but just want to be able to "manually" enter some data you can use a custom Record.Field format to allow data to be changed in the database rows. But it will still be linked to the object. See the following thread for more information.

I also have this problem.
I have a worksheet set up to generate a window schedule. Some cells derive information from the window object, but other cells are editable to input additional information.

This has worked fine up until now, but suddenly these cells cannot be edited. I used to be able to double-click into these and input data, but now the text is just greyed out and I cannot edit it.

?? Help?

I'll try that next time.
I was advised by our vw reseller tech support to go into the worksheet, edit the criteria of the cell that defines criteria of the worksheet, then just hit ok.
This (I guess it recalculated the criteria) allowed me to edit all the available cells.. who knew?
