Squirrely7
VW Spotlight 2019, SP 2 When I create a viewport, I'm having an issue where the beam angles.. or maybe it's the direction symbol, is stuck on. But only on the sheet layer. When I print to PDF, no beam angles. Attached is a snapshot of my screen. Apologies for the quality, but if you zoom in on the center viewport, you can see the issue. Am I missing something here to turn this all off? View.pdf Quote Link to comment
markdd
These are the light objects glyphs that are nested within your Spotlight Lighting Devices. To immediately disable them in the viewport, just toggle “show light objects” in Vectorworks Preferences. There is also a toolbar button that will do this as well. The reason why you are seeing them in the viewports is because their projection setting is a 3D view with no 2D Screen Plane geometry. When the 2D portion of the lighting device is present, you will not see them. BTW, this is normal behaviour and nothing is wrong with the file.
