Andrew Mac 2 Posted December 12, 2018 Is it possible to make this shape with my wall? Quote Share this post Link to post
cberg 198 Posted December 12, 2018 (edited) I would say no. This is as close as I could get. Unfortunately, the wall tool is not really 3D. Edited December 12, 2018 by cberg Quote Share this post Link to post
Kevin McAllister 1,158 Posted December 12, 2018 I was able to get this close - You can't quite make the end point. I'm not sure you'd want to overlap the points because it may start to misbehave. Start with a wall the correct length in plan, switch to a 3d view and double click on the wall. This will give you a tool to move or add points. Kevin Quote Share this post Link to post
cberg 198 Posted December 12, 2018 That''s better than I was able to achieve. Nice! Quote Share this post Link to post
cberg 198 Posted December 12, 2018 I figured it out too. You create two shapes and fit wall peaks to one of them. And base of wall to another. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

I'd be curious if the resulting wall has two overlapping points at the pointed end.... Kevin Quote Share this post Link to post
cberg 198 Posted December 12, 2018 It's pretty pointy at the end! As long as you line it up in plan. Not sure how Markdd got it to work. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
markdd 757 Posted December 12, 2018 @cberg Kevin’s method seemed to work fine for me, allthough yours is ingenious! Quote Share this post Link to post
Andrew Mac 2 Posted December 12, 2018 okay looks good- Here is the area I need to make one wall. I currently have two walls to make the shape above. Is it possible to join the lower portion the left side of the wall to turn left into another wall? See example Quote Share this post Link to post
