Jonathan Pickup
I have a tool that does this, and anyone that has my VectorWorks Architect Tutorial will find it on the CD in the back of the manual. Quote Link to comment
Taproot
The Vector Depot link that I think CEA is referring to is: Katerina's Class Utilities The tools do what you are asking and a whole lot more. Quote Link to comment
Eoin R
Anyone know of on easy command or shortcut button to switch off class layers by clicking on an object directly? This would be neater than having to call up the organise classes menu and scrolling down. Quote Link to comment
CEA
I downloaded a script that does this from the VectorBits website. Quote Link to comment
CEA
It may have been the Vector Depot web site: www.vectordepot.com Quote Link to comment
Arch
you can also double click on the eyedropper tool and check the boxes that say set as default and record. This will make the class active and then if you go to the classes menu that class is selected and easy to turn off! You then have to change what the current class is though! Quote Link to comment
Eoin R
Thanks for the response to my original query. One follow on question though the add on tools seem to be configured for Vectorworks 8&9. Will they work on Version11? Quote Link to comment
G-Pang
This issue has been discuss before. Just download script by shamsul adnan from vectordepot.com Quote Link to comment
G_Hannigan
Working with classes is so integral to using VW that these tools should be part of the package. We shouldn't have to purchase this basic functionality from third party sources. No disrespect to Archoncad or Katerina. Quote Link to comment
