Christiaan
Is there a technique to mask out or interrupt hidden line renders that ignore image props like the attached? Edited December 6, 2018 by Christiaan Quote Link to comment
0 Taproot
I haven't found one. My work-around has been to just relocate the props where they aren't in front of lines or, turn off hidden line rendering, or my favorite... Apply an aggressive sketch filter so the unwanted lines blend in. 1 Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tim C. Posted December 6, 2018 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 6, 2018 @Christiaan I don't think there's any magical fix for this. This is just a suggestion but you could put a corresponding Bitmap in the viewport's Annotations, so that it overlaps the Image Prop. -Extract the image from the prop texture -Enter the viewport's annotations -Import the image as a transparent Bitmap -Move/resize it so that it overlaps the original prop It's not ideal, but you'll still get the shadows cast by the original prop while getting rid of the unwanted lines. Hope this helps, Tim 1 Quote Link to comment
