REYES
Even if the Curved Geometry is set to 'Very High' some of the curved elements come out shattered when rendered with Renderworks. As you can see, at the revolving door (modeled not plugin) or the street light outside (imported from sketchup). It shows perfectly fine in the Open GL (also attached) mode or in the hidden line. Any ideas on what might be the problem? I can send over the file if needed... Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
If you're rendering in a sheet layer viewport I would recommend using a Hidden Line foreground paired with a Custom Renderworks background with draw edges off instead. What you're seeing is the mesh geometry. The smoothing angle feature of OpenGL that makes this disappear is way more robust than the same option in Custom Renderworks. Hidden Line's smoothing angle setting will allow you far more control of the final look. Kevin Quote Link to comment
REYES
Thanks Kevin, It happened that the geometry was somehow corrupted and copying it to a new file solved the issue with the Custom Renderworks visualization problem. Reyes Quote Link to comment
