bigrustyjc
The help function in vectorworks is not working at all. I go to the help pull down menu, or press f1, and nothing happens. Can anyone help me fix this very bizarre problem? It did work in the past on this machine. Thanks for your help! Quote Link to comment
Arch
the help menu (or F1) should bring up the internet - if this is any use to you?!! Quote Link to comment
Guest
What browser do you have set as the default? Quote Link to comment
bigrustyjc
Currently I have Firefox set as the default. I did recently switch from IE to Firefox since Firefox is infinitely better than IE. Is this a problem? I switched my default browser back to IE, and the help menu comes up normally. Is there a way to configure VW to use firefox as the browser to open up help? Thanks so much for your help!!!!! I really appreciate it! Guest
If you want to use Firefox, the f1 won't work. What you'll need to do is go to File>Open File from within Firefox and select the VW Help file inside the VW 11 folder. Select the index file. That will take you to the introduction to which you can search and so forth from there. Quote Link to comment
