I think I recall this being an issue going from 2017 to 20918 as well. I keep aliases of user library files in Favorites in my Resource Manager. That way I have access to them from there, and should I make changes, then those changes are update on the original file. I believe that during migration from 2018 to 2019 Vectorworks removed the aliases and replaced them with copies of the actual files. I noticed this yesterday when I was making changes to my "Fasteners" file in Resource Manager/Favorites. I realized my "Fasteners" file, which I assumed was still an alias, was an actual file, and now I had two different versions of my "Fasteners" file, one that was updated, one that was not. This is a problem. Has anyone else seen this?
