Labar
Hi, I use VW for Mac, I need to transfer all of my files to .dwg format in order to start using another software, Rhinoceros. User points a folder->VW files in this folder are opened, one by one-> For each file, do the following commands: --->Open file---> export to .dwg format in the same folder -->Close de file. I guess its basic script, any idea if something like this already exists ? Thanks Edited November 19, 2018 by Labar Quote Link to comment
Labar
I could write the applescript I needed; One more thing to solve, I am stuck pointing the 'Export DXFDWG' in my VS script. It may be very simple to you PROCEDURE ExportActiveFile; BEGIN DoMenuTextByName('Export DXFDWG',0); END; Run(ExportActiveFile); http://developer.vectorworks.net/index.php/VS:DoMenuTextByName http://developer.vectorworks.net/index.php/VS:Function_Reference_Appendix#menu Edited November 14, 2018 by Ibrahim Quote Link to comment
Labar
Seems like I am having the exact same issue as in this topic. I checked the internal references from the apendix, I tried to use the command DoMenutextByName with other references like 'Print', it works, and none of the 'Import DXFDWG' and 'Export DXFDWG' work for me. My conclusion is that the function is not working on mac ? Any workaround? can this be done with a Python Script ? Thanks in advance Edited November 19, 2018 by Labar Quote Link to comment
