Image crop bug

As attached - I've imported an image, resized it to fit my panel on the sheet layer, copy the panel rectangle, crop image and paste in the rectangle. When exiting crop image the handles are are away from the image -to get it to snap back together, you have to resize it with one of the phantom handles and then ctrl-z it to get it back to the size you wanted.

More annoying than anything else... but 😣

This happens to me too.  Like you say, annoying but not a deal-breaker.  There are a lot of things not quite right with VW2019.  Hopefully things get sorted out over the next few service packs.

Have either of you filed this as a bug? Please use the Bug Submit link at the bottom of this page if you haven't. If it never gets filed, it won't get fixed.

Well, I just tried to replicate it to get a bug report together, and it's no longer doing it.  If it comes back again I will definitely file it as a bug.  I'm not sure if one of the SP's fixed it, or if it was a random glitch.

I did some testing after I originally posted. Its very reproducible in a clean file using VW19 Sp1.1 running on Mac OS 10.13.6 so I bug submitted it.

I experienced the same thing, as a temporary work around I found if you cut and paste the image back in the drawing the selection handles are normal.

It's been happening consistently for me too, particularly when it's on a Sheet Layer.

 

Another workaround is Grouping the cropped bitmap.
