Text causing severe delay

Hi,

I'm updated VW2018 to the current update, and also updated my Mac to OS Mojave.

I then opened up to work on my Vectorworks drawings, but when I try to enter text on the drawing it delays by so long I have to force quit.

 

Does anyone know of a solution?

I don't think VW 2018 has been patched for Mojave yet.

 

If you go back to Sierra or High Sierra it should work fine.

VW 2018's SP for patching Mojave is said to come "later this Fall".

Previous VW Versions will not get patched for Mojave anymore,

only VW 2018, VW 2019 and following.

I have the same problem, almost identical hardware specs, my laptop became unusable, Any solutions?

Hi Oz,

I had to take it to the apple shop and explain the problem. they deleted Mojave, and replaced it with High Sierra.

Then I had to reinstall VW. 

I suggest you back up everything and do the same, took about 6 hours in total.

 

I was told VW will be dealing with the issue in 2019, then will provide a patch for 2018 in March time.
