Bas Vellekoop
Hi guys, A model question. How would you guys model these kind of chairs in Vectorworks. I looking for a workflow in which i can easily change the angles and curves without the need of modeling everything from scratch. In this case specific for the tubular wood and steel parts. EAP is of course a great tool, but the polyline is converted to a nurbs curve which is harder to edit. Any help appreciated! Quote Link to comment
Kevin Allen
EAP and NURBS Curves for the straight Wood. Loft for the wood that changes width. Subdivision for the cushions. You could use Subdivision for all. 3 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post twk
This would be a great Marionette challenge.. I would use EAP's and fillets for the cushions. Below is a result of 20mins: 8 Quote Link to comment
Bas Vellekoop
@twk I like your approach allot! The extrude solid is really easy to edit and with the extract tool you can easily create nurbs curves for the EAP. 2 Quote Link to comment
