Oliver Hauser Posted October 17, 2018 Share Posted October 17, 2018 Hi All, I have an issue with 3ds exports in VW Spotlight. For some reason, when exporting softgoods or a stage deck, only some of the data is exported. ie. 4 of 8 curtains will be exported or the top of the stage deck is not exported but the legs and frames are. I've tried converting the softgoods and stage decks to 3d polygons and then exporting but still no luck. If its worthing anything I'm importing the 3ds files into GrandMA3d. Vectorworks, Inc Employee vgenchev Posted October 17, 2018 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 17, 2018 Hello again, I have tried exporting the attached Vectorworks file to .3ds and opened it in the official Autodesk 3ds Max 2019. Everything seems to be exported fine without anything missing. You could attach screenshots of the missing objects if you wish, though I examined the exported file and there were no missing objects.
