kurt7717
Good morning, Just a quick question. I have made this custom size counter top and i would like to have a work sheet to automaticly spit out a cost of the counter top based on square footage. Im haveing trouble with my formulas, maybe somebody could help me out. the counter is 72 5/8" x 21" and i charge $60 a square foot. This would be very helpful because i plan on having more custom counter tops with different sizes in my drawing, but i just want to start with one until i figure this out. Thanks for your help Quote Link to comment
MullinRJ
Hi kurt7717, If you give your counter a name (eg. 'Kitchen Counter'), then when you are in the spread sheet you can use: =AREA(N='Kitchen Counter')/144*60 The /144 assumes your drawing is in inches and will convert from sq in. to sq ft. The *60 you should recognize as your price/sq ft. HTH, Raymond Quote Link to comment
