JulieK
I'd like to create windows that have trim on the exterior but use drywall returns instead of trim on the inside. If I create a window that way, there's a gap between the window frame and the wall when you look at the window from inside the house. Is there a way to fill in that space so it looks like a seamless drywall return? Quote Link to comment
bc
Could it be that you have a shim gap specified and that is showing. See what happens when you uncheck the shim gap box in the Object Info Palette? Quote Link to comment
Diego-Resuelvectorworks
If you use a wall with components, the best way to do it would be use the Interior Components feature in the Window Settings Quote Link to comment
JulieK
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried both, but they didn't work. However, in the process I discovered that I could use the "Edit 3D Wall Hole Component" command on the window unit to do what I want. Quote Link to comment
