CEA
I am interested in purchasing Adobe's "Graphite" font that is now offered in the "Open Type" format. Does anyone have any experience with "Open Type" fonts? Will they work reliably with Vectorworks on Macintosh OS 10.2.8? Quote Link to comment
CEA
Does anyone have any thoughts on this topic? Adobe has a sale on open type fonts through the end of the year, and I would like to take advantage of the sale. Will "Open Type" fonts work with Vectorworks 11.0.1 and Mac OS 10.2.8? CipesDesign
As far as I can tell, only Trye Type (TT) fonts will give you reliable performance. See this thread from a while back: TT Font Quote Link to comment
Guest
You can use Open Type with VectorWorks, but you have to make sure the ENTIRE suitcase is installed CORRECTLY on the Operating System and that it is NOT duplicated on the OS. This is more stable with OS 10.3 than earlier versions of the OS. If you are using anything other than TT fonts, worksheets will substitute a generic font. kcarter
I don't know if this is to late or not but we use Graphite open type font in my office & the only complaint I have is the text is not centered in the text box. Which means if you use the something like the stamp tool you have to go in and manually move the text to be in the center of the stamp. Sometimes there is a lot of editing time spent.
