0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 14, 2018 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 14, 2018 I am able to tab between the various fields in Title Block Border Settings on both macOS 10.13.6 and Windows 10, I am not able to replicate this issue. Does it happen even after a restart? Does it behave the same way in a new blank file with a default title block added? Is it indeed Title BLock Border that you are working with right now or does the object have a different name in the object info palette? Quote Link to comment
0 Andy Broomell
Same here - unable to tab in any title blocks. Quote Link to comment
0 David Poiron
VW2019 SP0 macOS 10.13.6 restarted machine and VW. I tried my Title Block Border and a new default title block in a blank file. No tabbing. On another computer in the office tabbing works only on certain fields in the dialogue box. Title Block Border confirmed. I like the new direct entry layout, BTW. Quote Link to comment
0 Kevin McAllister
I am not able to tab either. @Jim Wilson did you try testing with a file you've brought forward from VW2018? I suspect it may be a translation issue. Kevin Quote Link to comment
0 Andy Broomell
I can't tab even in new 2019 blank files using default title blocks. Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Nikolay Zhelyazkov Posted September 17, 2018 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 17, 2018 Hello all, This is known issue and should be fixed in Service Pack 1. Until then, here is a workaround: If you are using Mac OS, could you make sure that you have Settings->Keyboard->Shortcuts->All controls checked for keyboard access, as shown in the attached picture? If tabbing still does not work, try using Ctrl + Tab, instead of just Tab. Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov 3 Quote Link to comment
0 Michael Schroeder
^This fix works Side note: Is there a way to define whether the direct entry field is a short text or paragraph? Would love to make some of the entry fields smaller in size Quote Link to comment

Would love to make some of the entry fields smaller in size Unfortunately no. All custom text fields default to multiline fields with the new Title Block Border tool. Kevin Quote Link to comment
0 Dan Hoffman
This fixed it for me, on MacOS 10.14.2 using VW19 SP2: "Settings->Keyboard->Shortcuts->All controls checked for keyboard access" (couldn't move between fields using tab, pressed control-F7, now I can!) Quote Link to comment
