Rotation

Recommended Posts

You have to have all layers and classes used in the drawing visible, and Layer Options and Class Options both have to be set to "Show/Snap/Modify Others", and then you select everything, either with the Select tool or the Select All command.

With the Rotate command, you specify the angle in a dialog box, and everything rotates around the centroid.

With the Rotate tool, you click at the fulcrum, then at the start and end points of the arc of rotation. You can enter the angle in the Data Display bar, or you can use a pair of lines at the desired angle to each other, snapping first to one and then to the other.
