jarjones
Working on theatre design in Spotlight and I would like to define the location from which the perspective view is seen, ie 30' away and 5' up. Is there a way to set this, or do I have to guess with the translate view tool? (I'd like to be able to show the director what the design will look like from his seat.) Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
If you live in Australia there is a CAMERA TOOL included in the Australian / New Zealand version of ARCHITECT which makes it very easy to do what you require. It allows you to define precise views in a graphic form in the model. If you live eklsewhere - better hope someone develops a tool which you can buy. Quote Link to comment
Kaare Baekgaard
In older versions of Vectorworks 'Set 3D view* used to to just that ? when in 3D views. Why it was changed, I do not know. I think it is due to a programing error. You can still use the tool, but you have to specify the heights of the first and second click of the mouse. Quote Link to comment
