markdd
Probably the simplest way is to select the object you have made, go to a Left/Right/Front/Back orientation (whichever is correct for your needs) then use the Rotate tool from the Basic Toolset. Kevin McAllister
If you're rotating the object 90 degrees, use the rotate keyboard command instead - Command L (Mac) or Ctrl L (Windows). It will rotate an object counter clockwise 90 degrees. Tap it multiple times as needed. You may have to reposition your object after rotating since this command rotates the object around its centre. Kevin Edited September 3, 2018 by Kevin McAllister Corrected incorrect info. Typo. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
@Kevin McAllister - Is that a custom mapped key command on your system? On my system Cmd/Cntrl M opens Move dialog box. (default shortcut). VWX default 90° rotation shortcuts are: Cmd/Cntrl L = rotate selection 90° counter clockwise. Center of rotation is geometric center of the objects. Shift Cmd/Cntrl R = rotate selection 90° clockwise. Center/Axis as above. Notes Axis of rotation is perpendicular to the screen. Therefore, rotations are often performed in Top/Bot, Left/Right, Front/Back views. Rotations in other view planes should probably be made on saved working planes or saved views corresponding to that rotation. Otherwise, once the view is changed, the rotation parameters can be difficult to repeat or undo. Modify>Rotate>Rotate 3d = opens the Rotate 3d dialog with field for angle and options for center, axis and plane. -B 1 Quote Link to comment

I've edited my original post. 3 hours ago, Benson Shaw said: Shift Cmd/Cntrl R = rotate selection 90° clockwise. Center/Axis as above. ^ I just learned something new....
