Robert Janiak
Is that capture card supported? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee bbudzon Posted August 30, 2018 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 30, 2018 Unfortunately, I do not believe this is a UVC device (ie; will not work with generic programs like Skype). Vision requires UVC capture devices. If you can get any additional information about UVC support and supported pixel formats, that will aid us in giving you a for sure answer. FWIW, CITP and NDI are on the wish list 😉 Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted August 30, 2018 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 30, 2018 Vision requires a capture device that supports UVC (USB Video Class) 1.1 support. Windows and OS X both ship with UVC 1.1-capable drivers built directly into the OS. While the capture card may come with proprietary drivers, they will not work with Vision. The documentation for the Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle does not indicate it supports UVC but we have found this information is often hard to find. There is some additional information about supported capture devices in these forum threads: Tech Bulletin Video Capture Cards Quote Link to comment
Robert Janiak
This is a comprehensive answer to this topic. Thank you @bbudzon @klinzey By the way Blackmagic should be add to Vision in the near future. It is very popular video equipment. Edited August 30, 2018 by Robert Janiak Quote Link to comment
