Sam Jones
In an event driven path object is there an event that flags that the path has changed, and whether it has lengthened or shortened? TIA Sam Quote Link to comment
Miguel Barrera
Just the fact that you changed the object, it should call the regeneration code. To test whether the length has changed, you could store the last value in a hidden parameter and then compare to the new length. Quote Link to comment
JBenghiat
vsoStateGetExitGroup() will let you know if the user did a reshape or exited the path group. You’ll have to use a hidden parameter for the length change. Quote Link to comment
Sam Jones
vsoStateGetExitGroup() Cool, I only need to know if the user has changed the path, not how it got changed. But, FUNCTION vsoStateGetExitGroup( hObj:HANDLE;VAR outGrpType:LONGINT) :BOOLEAN ; What is the "outGrpType", and True or False as a result of what? Thanks so much. Quote Link to comment
Nicolas Goutte
See the documentation in http://developer.vectorworks.net/index.php/VS:vsoStateGetExitGroup (and perhaps the one in http://developer.vectorworks.net/index.php/VS:Parametric_State_Notifications ) As for the question how the path has changed, I think you have to do it by yourself, if it is relevant to you Edited August 17, 2018 by Nicolas Goutte Quote Link to comment
