Could we get a better colour interface? Right now its difficult to seriously work with colour in Vectorworks. Choosing colours is not an easy task with the current interface. There are too many nested layer and hidden buttons within the colour browser. On a Mac when you choose the system colour picker it doesn't reflect the current colour, making it impossible to adjust it. You're basically starting from scratch each time. Some things I'd love to see -
Control over the size of the swatches.
The ability to stay in colour interface, choose a new colour and see it applied, rather than having to re-enter each time I make a change.
An interface that shows the current colour and the new colour I pick next to each other (think Photoshop) so I can make a direct comparison between the new and old colours.
Drag and drop organization of colour palettes.
The ability to keep the colour interface open.
I'm sure others will have additional ideas for improvements.
(This came about because of working with a lot of textures over the last few days, which is where I mostly apply colour in my models.)
