Just drag the tab of one of the files off and it will float in a new window that you can move (to your 2nd screen).

Ah, now I get it.

I sometimes dragged out a Tab accidentally when switching between files.

So I ended up basically with a second "full screen" File Window, missing

all palettes. And so I also could see one File at a time only.

So the solution had been to resize the main VW Window to be able to see and

access both files.

Maybe that way I would have been able to re-dock my 2nd file in tabbed mode again.

Better that closing and restarting everything ....

Unfortunately not on a pc / Windows.

Doesn't Windows, opposed to Mac, generally allow to start more than one

App Instance at a time. (At least I used that with Microstation in the past)

Or doesn't VW support that.

That way you could move the whole second App Window to the 2nd screen (?)

I remembered this as my Bricscad on Mac has the same default setting

like Windows, to open multiple Files in separate instances.

Which doesn't work on Mac of course, so you can't open further Files

from Finder. Until you switch that back to single instance mode.

Therefore I thought that is quite common practice in Windows (?)
