JMR
Hi, This is perhaps related to the earlier post of mine about objects appearing on wrong DL. Please see the attached image. Only one DL is visible. Options are set only to "show others", not select. A stair, which resides on a different DL, is visible AND selectable on the active DL. A Bug? Stair object or project sharing? Curiously, sometimes the stair disappears from the wrong DL, then comes back again after a couple of days. Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Ah, is it maybe just about the : Stair Settings > 2D Graphics > Upper/Lower Floor Settings ? More likely the Lower Floor Settings, as I see the Layer assigned to Upper Floor 2D display may be off OFF. (Not visible in your List's screen shot) Quote Link to comment
0 JMR
Thanks, the lower floor settings are set to display dashed above stair break - the stair displays as solid. However: If I change any of the lower/upper floor settings, the representation on the wrong DL disappears. Even though I change all the settings back as they were. It seems the stair object got confused about the 2D representation at some point. 3D views show the stair on the correct DL and elevation. Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Fine. BTW, I tend to go to tools > utilities > Update/Reset Plugins from time to time. That makes me feel it may correct potential problems, at least it makes ME feel better. (Just like the former option on Mac, to "repair user rights") Edited July 18, 2018 by zoomer Quote Link to comment
