VClaiborne
is there a shortcut way of adding (for example) 6" in dimension (could be height, for instance) to a selected group of objects currently located at different heights? I thought there surely is a way to do this, so I tried entering "+6" in the Z field, but it entered 6" for all of the selected objects, which was not what I wanted. i want them to all be shifted up 6" relative to where they were located originally.. Andy Broomell
Try using the 3D move command (Cmd+Opt+M) with the objects selects and typing in 6 to the Z field. 2 Quote Link to comment
MRD Mark Ridgewell
Definately agree with Andy's advice above. Maybe set the default (vw preferences/ edit) to a convenient unit and move in multiples of that; recently set mine to 50mm (UK) and it makes all move adjustments so much easier. Also works in elevation z plane and 'edt elevation in place' I seem to recall. 1 Quote Link to comment
