What I'd like to see is a new approach to all Walls, Slabs, Floors, Roofs or whatever. Call this new tool Assemblies, and it would allow me to draw a roof in elevation or plan or as a 3D poly then transform it to an Assembly. Want a wall that's not 90º? Fine just draw it & assign the Assembly or start with the Assembly. Want to draw a roof in elevation? Sure, then assign an Assembly to it. Allow each Assembly to connect to one another in a custom fashion. This would allow Roofs to be cut by objects like windows or doors. Hatch doors or chimneys could cut slabs. To make it truly powerful, 3D polys could be transformed into Assemblies. Oh, and please let me store these things in my own folders in the Resource Browser so I can have the 3 walls & two roofs etc in one folder & not my whole collection.
