Classes won't change in cabinet

Recommended Posts

When I change the colour of the class my cabinet doesn't adjust to this colour.

I have created multiple cabinets from one base wich works fine.

But the cabinet I have attached doesn't change as you can see for yourself.

I have changed three classes which the cabinet uses, but they all remain white.

Does anyone have any idea, what might be the cause?

Any suggestions or ideas to simplify my cabinet are welkom...

I get the idea this one is made more complicated then needed.

You appear to already have 'Use at Creation' set. That setting is in the "Edit Class" dialog.

It looks like you have that object set to use the class settings in the attributes palette which is why it works correctly.

If you open the file where it hadn't been working, select the cabinet, and set everything to use class values in the attributes palette, it should also work. It's the manual way of doing what the "Set Fill Color by Class" node would do.

Please let me know if I was unclear.

Hello Ash,

I have translated the wrapper functions for you.

I hope you don't mind the fact my English is poor at times 😉

Let me know if you need some more help.

Afstand voorkant tot blad = distance front to worktop

-          It sets the distance between the front of the cabinet to the front of the worktop

I sometimes use this in case the distance needs to change after I’ve drawn the entire kitchen

Bovenregel onderkast = top of cabinet pieces in the cabinet front and back

-          This changes the width of the top pieces

Corpus klasse = corpus class

Dikte achterwand = thickness of backpanel

Draainaad bovenkant lades = turning seam?

-          Space between front panel on top of each other

Draainaad lades = turning seam?

-          Space at the sides of the front panel

Front dikte = Thickness of front panels

Front klasse = Front class

Hoogte bovenste lade = Height of top drawer front

Hulpstukken klasse = adjustable leg class

Kast breedte = width of cabinet

Kast diepte = inside depth of cabinet

Kast hoogte = heigth of cabinet

Naam symbool = name of symbol

-          I use a symbol as parts of the adjustable legs

Plint hoogte = Height of plinth

Ruimte tussen front en corpus = space between the front panel and the corpus

Stelpoot afstand achter = distance for adjustabel legs at the back side

Stelpoot afstand links = distance for adjustabel legs at the left side

Stelpoot afstand rechts = distance for adjustabel legs at the right side

Stelpoot afstand voor = distance for adjustabel legs at the front side

Wanddikte = thickness of panels used for the corpus of the cabinet
