Yovav
Hello Larry 2 software that will make it happen are "splot 4.1" and "CtrlView 2.90". Both are viewing/converting tools. You can import the .plt file into one of them, view it on the screen, and then convert and save it to DXF. The DXF file can be imported easily to VW. The only disadvantage of the processes is huge amount of lines (objects), because .plt is a very "low level" file format that supports basic geometry. The CtrlView 2.90 is a bit more modern, and the splot looks like a product that is not developed anymore. Yet, the splot can show raster .plt files much better. You can get CtrlView 2.90 at www.ctrlview.com . I don't have the link to "Splot" but I'm sure you can get it through "Google". Quote Link to comment
Petri
GraphicConverter and/or CADintosh (both by Lemke Software http://www.lemkesoft.de/) might also work, if one is using a Mac. CADintosh should be able to convert HP-GL to DXF. However (AFAK), PLT does not necessarily mean a particular file type, ie. HP-GL. Quote Link to comment
