patman
I just select the bitmap and drag the handles at the corner or edge. Is this not working for you? Patrick Quote Link to comment
lswdw
yes, if i am just manually resizing it . but what i am trying to do is to import a bitmap over a scale drawing and i thought using the fix point can help me to resize to the closest scale. Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
you have to scale it using a scale factor number. we do this all the time, and it works pretty good, depending on the quality of the drawing you have scanned. since you can't snap to an imported image- it is not a vector drawing- you need to measure a known area or it and scale away. hope this helps... patman
Yea, that works. If it is a survey I will draw a line over a long boundry and get the length. Then use the scale objects command and put in for the scale factor the length it should be divided by the length it is. Patrick Quote Link to comment
