LarryAZ
I'm running 10.3.5 with 11.0.1 iMac 17" 800 512ram. I'm starting to wonder if I have enough ram. Katie what is you suggested memory for this configuration? Thanks - Larry Quote Link to comment
Guest
You meet the minimum requirements for RAM, but depending on the size of the file and the types of textures and objects in the file, more is usually necessary. How large is the file that you are working with? Quote Link to comment
LarryAZ
Katie, The file I'm having problems with is approaching 10 mbytes. Doesn't sound that big. What is the suggested method for cleaning up a file that may be corrupted. Save as new copy, export to version 10 and back, or what do you suggest? Larry Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
to repair a corrupted file I use the Work Group reference method. This is a bit long to explain here, but if you want to down load a pdf file that explains it, you can find the document on my web site. http://www.archoncad.co.nz/resources/resources_tips.php Look for the October 2002 tips. When you are there you can download any of the freestuff... Quote Link to comment
