wsutliff
My vectorworks 10 will not open. I get an error message saying that I need up-to-date dongle drivers. I did that and it did not help. I then was going to try and reinstall vectorworks but it will not uninstall. It gives me an error message that says "Install.log file not found". I have WinXP SP1. Thanks, Will Quote Link to comment
Guest
Go to http://www.ealaddin.com/support/hasp/hasp4/enduser.asp and download the latest driver. For you, it's the third item in the list. Make sure when you install the dongle driver, the dongle is NOT plugged in. After the extraction and installation, insert the dongle, restart the computer. Quote Link to comment
wsutliff
Hi Katie, I tried that and it won't install. It extracts two files which when are opened just has written words but nothing about installation. Thanks Quote Link to comment

Guest
With the dongle plugged in, restart the computer. You should see a new hardware bubble in the lower right corner of the screen. Open this bubble. You should see two radio buttons. Select From a List Click on Don't Search Then, you should see a BIG list. Scroll down to the bottom and click on Universal Serial Bus Controller. You will see two columns. Select Aladdin on the left. When you click on Aladdin, you'll see Aladdin key USB listed in the right column. Click on that. Click Next, OK, and then Finish. If you don't get the new hardware bubble, or can't open the bubble, contact Aladdin to have them walk you through the installation of the dongle. If you can, ask for a gentelmen named John. When you call, a receptionish will ask how to direct your call - tell them to Hasp 4 Tech Support and John if you can. Quote Link to comment
