Printing - multiple layouts from single file

Recommended Posts

Hey,

Is there a way to have multiple layouts in (1) file, like AutoCAD or Revit?

I use 8.5x11 paper size to saw clients my design but also need to make install drawings with more detail, something like an 11x17 size or larger. The only way I can figure out to do this is to save the drawing as a different file and change all the settings and the scale. This seems really inefficient and was hoping there was a simpler way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

This is done with Sheet Layers. Each sheet layer can be set to it's own custom page size, and then you can simply duplicate the viewports created on your first one and place them on the other sheet layers, controlling the scale of what is shown via each viewport's own scale setting.
