For space objects - and I think this is true of other objects with embedded symbols - if you modify the underlying symbol definition the new definition is not pushed to the space object until a change is made. The easiest way I have found is toggling the "2D-Boundry" box. But this is a pain and can lead to errors. There needs to be a way for these objects to update automatically when the container symbol is modified.
