suggestions for printer (11x17apple compatible)?

i have g4 and want to get 11x17 printer economical and newer...that is compatable with apple and vectorworks without spending on a driver like i did for my last hp 350c

any suggestions printing mostly b and w some color sometimes

is there a 24 that i should consider- or does tht get too pricey for my tiny practice

John, I've been using an hp 1220 c which prints up to 13 x 19. It's been working great since I upgraded the driver (free from hp). Bought it for about $399 a year ago. Don't know if they still offer it, though. Good luck, bc.

I'm in the UK, but we use the Epson 1290's (I think the number is the same worldwide) and are really happy with them. In fact we use them both for 11x17 and letter size. We keep one stocked with one size and the other stocked with the other. They are very reasonably priced and print quickly. Our boss keeps buying different HP printers and hates each one more than the last.
