Mac Mouse Issue

This may be a Mac problem but when I use Vectorworks on my brand new Macbook pro the wireless Mac mouse interminably lags. So much so that it is unusable. My work around is a crappy old wired hp mouse. My old Macbook was fine.

 

Anyone else have this problem? 

 

Does buy a different type of mouse work?

I sometimes have this problem with my Apple Magic Mouse. I think its related to radio frequency interference. I make sure unneeded wireless/bluetooth signals are turned off and that usually resolves the issue. Even someone streaming video onto an iPad near me can sometimes interfere. @John Vancouver I too have seen the kind of lag you describe sometimes when there have been other Bluetooth/wireless devices nearby. I’ve experienced this mostly with other Bluetooth mice, but occasionally with Apple’s Magic Mouse. When I do see the issue, it’s not isolated to Vectorworks, so it’s pretty clear that it’s a more of a system or BT issue.
