Ryan Edwards Posted March 23, 2018 Share Posted March 23, 2018 Hi All, After updating his VW symbol library yesterday, any time my boss goes to insert a symbol into a drawing he gets the following error message: "The symbol must be inserted in a wall. Do you want to reinsert the symbol in a wall?" As this started yesterday, we've obviously shut down and restarted the computer, with the issue still occurring this morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! And FYI, his computer has the same setup and configuration as mine (see signature below). Quote Link to comment

When you say that the symbol library was updated yesterday, could you describe what you mean? Are you referring to the catalog update that is sometimes required? Hi All,
After updating his VW symbol library yesterday, any time my boss goes to insert a symbol into a drawing he gets the following error message:
"The symbol must be inserted in a wall. Do you want to reinsert the symbol in a wall?"
As this started yesterday, we've obviously shut down and restarted the computer, with the issue still occurring this morning.
