Ride
Is it possible to create a hatch pattern that has an alternating fill colour? See attached. Seems this should be simple, but I can't get anything to work. Thoughts? Quote Link to comment
TKA
hatch requires a bit of work, depending on the complexity of what you are looking for you might try "Tile" - it's simple and intuitive to set up Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I don't think you can use a fill in a Hatch. By definition it is a collection of lines. I often receive DXF/DWG files and anything that is filled is actually a collection of very closely spaced lines. If you don't need the lines to be too thick, could you just use very thick lines? I think VW will let you go up to 6.48mm in thickness (about 1/4 inch). Or use multiple 6.48mm lines next to each other to get the required thickness. Quote Link to comment
Peter Neufeld
Hatches can have a background colour but it is only one. As TKA says Tiles are the way to go. Cheers, Peter Quote Link to comment
