jrd6262
The updater is not working on my windows computer. It goes up to the locate the VW11 folder then says it does not contain a version of VW11 that can be updated. Quote Link to comment
jrd6262
On a macintosh computer the updater runs. I get a message to change the name of the folder's application to 11.0.1, but when i go to About Vectorworks it still says the version is 11.0.0 Quote Link to comment
jrd6262
I got the windows version to install alright.I had changed the name of the application to Vectorworks 11. When I changed it backit ran ok. The windows version now reads 11.0.1 Quote Link to comment
Speedy Gonzales
I've installed the updater on my Mac PB 15" G4 (OS X 10.3.4) without a hitch. I noticed a bit of a speed up in opening files, and all settings were working good. Haven't put it to a good hard working test, especially to test and see if some of the bugs have been resolved, but when I do, I will report. BTW, you don't need to change the name of the folder, and you shouldn't change the name of the application. Quote Link to comment
Guest
If you change the name of the application on a PC, the updater will not work. If you change the name of the application on a MAC, the updater will work but you will have two applications in the VW folder. The folder itself can be changed, but isn't necessary. As for the Mac version not saying it's version 11.0.1, make sure you restart the computer and then go to About VectorWorks from within the VW application. Quote Link to comment
