BJRobinson
Hi all. When I publish or export my plans, they end up as 4 separate pages. They are on A2. How do I stop this please? Also, how do I change from landscape to portrait when I choose a page size in 'Page Setup'? Again. thank you all for your help. Cheers Bernard Quote Link to comment
Art V
Did you check your margins? Depending on how the page was set up there could be a small margin that causes extra pages to be created. Or the page size of the printer setup is not matching the sheet size. You may also want to check if your sheet page setup (settings for your sheet and then check page setup) matches the overal application page setup (file>page setup) To change from landscape to portrait in the page setup, either untick the Printable area option and rely solely on the printer setup button and printer settings, or manually change the width and height to the correct values for landscape if the selected size does not already do this. Pat Stanford
It is probably as Art says, that the margins are forcing part of the drawing onto the edge of additional pages. You could also "fix' this by just changing the settings in the left hand side of Page Setup to 1 page horizontal x 1 page vertical. You might lose a little bit of the drawing the would extend onto the other pages. Quote Link to comment
BJRobinson
Thanks Art & Pat. It was as simple as clicking on "Export whole printable area as one page"! I really need to do a course on this. But time, travel and finances doesn't allow me to do this. So learn as I go it is. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
If you need accurate scale be careful. That option will scale things down so that everything in the printable area fits within the page margins. For scale where borders don't matter, it is often better to just force to one page and allow the little bits that run onto pages 2-4 to be ignored. Quote Link to comment
