Lighting Positions renamed in VW2018

I have just upgraded to VW2018 (Spotlight) and when I open a document from VW2017, many of my lighting positions have been renamed (Position Name) for example from 'BOOM 1R' to 'BOOM 1R-1'. I am unable to change them back to their original Position Name. Looking through the drawing, I can not find any other positions with the same name (as I am guessing the renaming is occurring as it thinks the position already exists with the same name). In the 'Object Info' palette, I do see the 'Name' field at the bottom is showing the renamed name. Any suggestions on how to fix this ? Thanks.

The name can be used anywhere in the document., the names are not exclusively used by the hanging position. For hanging positions I would start by looking for the position name used as a symbol name.

Thanks for your help. That seems to have fixed it. My position symbols were the names of the positions.
