mattryan
Hi All I am using the curtain wall tool and trying to edit the parameters to reflect a vertical butt joint glass with top and bottom frames. When I draw the wall it shows the bottom frame segmented but I want this to show continuous. Is there an edit I'm missing ? Thank you! Quote Link to comment

Guest Wes Gardner
The way the curtain wall tool is set up out of the box is to have the verticals run continuous, that's why yours show as broken/segmented. These easiest way to fix what you've got is to put your model in "Front View" so you can see the curtain wall "dead on", then get into the curtain wall editor and use the "Combine Frames Mode" up at the top left to join the horizontals together such that they run continuous. You pretty much have to do each frame segment at a time, joining it to the one before it. Git 'er done... I've included a sample file as well... Curtain_Wall_Test.vwx Quote Link to comment
mattryan
Thanks very much Wes! I figured there must be a work around for this. Greatly appreciate the help Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Another option, when it is for modeling purposes mainly, would be to hide the vertical Bars by special Classes and add custom Solids or Extrudes instead. Beside, Vertical Bars running through is kind of a Standard (Water Flow ?) Edited January 24, 2018 by zoomer Quote Link to comment
