ericjhberg
I am wondering if there is a way to use a script to populate a worksheet with all of the Plant Plug-in objects that are located within a file's Resource Manager, but not necessarily placed in the drawing. Could this also be refined to populate the list with Plug-in Objects placed within a specific folder in the resource manager? Can the script mine the data of the plug-in object to list the latin name, common name, schedule size, etc. similar to a database worksheet does for objects placed in the drawing. Thanks. Pat Stanford
Yes, Yes, Probably But not tonight. How do you identify Plant objects in the RM from other symbols? Other than by a specific folder. Are the names, etc. in the PIO record or are these in a separate record attached to the symbol? Quote Link to comment
LarryO
For those that have the landscape functionality, they can check the plugin's folder for files with names similar to the tools used to place or manipulate the plants. If plants similar to the arrangement used for steel shapes there will be a tab separated data files used to populate menus, pull downs etc. Even the string data should be retrievable for language adaptations.
